one world, one dream

Last night's Olympics Opening was absolutely BREATHTAKING. It was an amazing thing to witness on TV. What a great reward it must have been for everyone who saw it live!

For something so beautiful, the people who worked for it have garnered less applause than they deserve because the event has been shrouded with so many political issues.

I think that though the world will never be rid of politics, this time it shouldn't be about China, or Tibet, or the United States. The Olympics isn't an opportunity for a nation to bully, criticize, terrorize or protest another. It should simply be about the games and the hope they represent.

because the united states and the rest of the western nation see china as an emerging threat, looking for every loophole in china's olympic bash as if they're having a preconceived notion even before it started and a chance for mudslinging.

It is should be about the athletes and the competition.
